My Journey
For over two decades, I’ve been transforming leadership challenges into measurable, human-centric successes. I worked with CareCredit to integrate patient financing into dental, vision, hearing, cosmetic, and veterinary practices. Working with hundreds of practices, I developed a deep empathy for the providers, patients and pet parents.
This interactive course introduces veterinary professionals to Emotional Intelligence (EQ) and the DISC behavioral model. Participants will learn how DISC styles shape communication, decision-making, and teamwork, and how EQ enhances empathy, resilience, and client relationships. RACE-Approved 1 CEU.

Low emotional intelligence on veterinary teams results in burnout, turnover, stress, and a suboptimal experience for clients and patients. This program is not vitamins - it's medicine. We all know that training alone may or may not stick (usually not, sadly). But when you combine training with supportive coaching, over time, your chances of success rise dramatically.
Designed specially for veterinary practice teams, you'll get:
Rebecca Tudor, DVM, DACVS, owner of Tarheel Veterinary Surgical Specialists in Louisburg, NC, explains the advantages of utilizing DISC.
"It gives you a framework for how to communicate with each other. Understanding not only who you are and what makes you tick, but also others, makes the team work more smoothly with less conflict."
Veterinary teams face challenges, from high-stress environments and team burnout to emotionally charged client interactions. Leaders want to retain team members, and pet parents may feel overwhelmed in critical decision-making moments. Developing Emotional Intelligence results in strengthened teamwork, reduced stress, improved client relationships and a more resilient, high-performing practice.
