My Journey: From Frontline Sales Insights to Transformative Healthcare Leadership - For over two decades, I’ve been transforming leadership challenges into measurable, human-centric successes. Early on, I partnered with brands like American Express, Microsoft, Toyota, and Google to boost sales and customer satisfaction. Simultaneously, I worked with CareCredit to integrate patient financing into dental, vision, hearing, cosmetic, and veterinary practices. Working with hundreds of practices, I developed a deep empathy for the providers, patients and pet parents.
The Transformation: A Blueprint for Building High-EQ Teams - As I got deeper into Emotional Intelligence and DISC, I had a few insights that changed the course of my career and fueled a passion to serve in a different way.
- First, in a healthcare practice, developing higher EQ results in higher revenue, through increased treatment acceptance, satisfaction, retention and referrals. In other words Emotional Intelligence is the healthcare equivalent of commercial sales training, driving the same outcomes.
- Second, unlike sales training, EQ training powered by DISC improves team communication, efficiency, and patient care, while reducing turnover.
My mission evolved into empowering leaders with actionable strategies that blend emotional intelligence with data-driven insights, driving improvements in both top line revenue and bottom line profitability. To share these lessons broadly, I created the Emotional Intelligence for Healthcare Teams coaching series, specialized for dental, vision, hearing, cosmetic, and veterinary practices, respectively.
